2) Puppy treats (small-size treats to reinforce a puppy’s good behavior
during training)

3) Water & food bowls

4)Safe toys (toys that can’t be torn up, chewed apart, swallowed,
or entangled)

5) Bed (buy to fit grown dog)

6) Crate (for training & travel)

7) Collar & Leash

8) Puppy ID tag

9) Dog nail clippers (ask your veterinarian or groomer how to trim your
puppy’s nails)

10) Pet shampoo

11) Dog grooming brush

12) Flea control products

13) Pooper scooper

14) Carpet stain remover

15) Puppy/dog training book or videotape

16) Booklet or notebook (to hold current puppy/dog photos, and to record
all of your dog’s vital statistics—especially helpful if your puppy/dog
gets lost)
